Actually they visited 3 times in MT.FUJI JAZZ FES., 1987, 88 and 89.

Due to quite sad death of Dannie Richmond in 1988, in 1988 was with Lewis Nash as drums for farewell to Danny.

Dannie at the performance…..looked so worn out ?? But the drumming was incredible.

This tune, “Song From The Old Country” was so impressed with all of the audience, then for the long it was the “theme tune” for the Mt.Fuji Jazz Festival.
