TOUGH DAYS STARTED IN 2021 -TOKYO JAZZ CAFE WALKS-

“HAPPY NEW YEAR !!”

We said each other as well, however, its meaning was a little bit different than usual, with more meaning of WISH.

2021年、厳しい年始スタートです！年始の挨拶も「願望」の想いのみが発せられたように思います。

In Tokyo area, major restrictions are (as of today on 10th Jan.2021));

-Restaurants, cafes and clubs need to be closed at 20:00

-Citizens are requested not to go out after 20:00 as far as no urgency

Frankly speaking, we wonder if stop to go to jazz cafe ??? However, as far as jazz cafes I know, there are enough follows to governments guidelines;

– Close at 20:00

-Necessary ventilation

-Prepare disinfection liquid and wear mask.

Furthermore, basically, at jazz cafe not so internal talks inside.

And then, as for myself, some cafes are within bicycle ride. No need of public transportation!!

Finally, I had some time today to listen and receive “MUSICIANS SPIRITS” at JAZZ NUTTY

正直なところ「ジャズ喫茶に出かけようか」という思いを躊躇することもあります。しかしながら私が知る限りジャズ喫茶では政府のガイドラインを厳格に守っています。そもそもジャズ喫茶では多少の店の違いはあるものの店内で大声を出すものではありません。本日はNUTTYさんにお邪魔しました。

Probably the clear consensus among jazz cafe lovers are TO SAVE THIS VALUABLE CULTURE, even though environment became very tough.

Then, what should be cared more?;

– To receive clear cafe concept

As for NUTTY, it is clear. TO LISTEN AND RECEIVE MUSICIANS HOT SPIRITS.

– Try to share cafe information even with word of mouth communication

As for NUTTY, this month special is “PRESTIGE label” (see its blog)

– To improve menu quality and service level quality

It is Cafe issue.

Once again, our consensus is TO SAVE THIS VALUABLE CULTURE.
