TWO LADIES’ HOT PLAY BLEW STRONG WIND AND RAIN AWAY

COQUELICOT F. is a jazz club newly opened in Oct.2019 in Funabashi city (neighbor city of Tokyo).(080-3348-5915)

Club whole interior and atmosphere is European taste of high sense.

On March 2nd (Tue.), players at COQUELICOT F. were so match with such club image !

Mikiko Nagatake (p) and Miyuki Moriya (as) DUO.

Furthermore, they released enough power from their sophisticated bodies to blew heavy wind and rain away suddenly there was, by their sincere and serious playing.

Their performance is with various musicians, and various types, however, following latest albums are the updated direction, maybe.

This unit continued for four years. Following tune, “WRONG KEY DONKEY” is composed by Carla Bley, arranged by Mikiko Nagatake. There is some heart warming story that Mikiko-san was seriously learning this tune when she was visiting jazz cafe “NUTTY” near her university when she was an university student. It is still Jazz cafe’s significance !!

NUTTY is one of my favorite cafe. Difference is that I would not learn any tune at cafe, just enjoy listening!!

When we see piano-less trio, we remind Yosuke Yamashita, in fact, we feel enough respect on him at Moriya-san sometimes, however, it is clear to see her determination to overcome to make up her own style to listen to MUKASHI MUKASHI well.

3月2日（火）。ヘンな日でした。早朝の雨は止んだもののしかし再び午後振り始め、夕方には雨風も強くなる一方。なかなか出かけるには億劫な日でしたね。

そんな悪天も相変わらずのコロナ禍も吹き飛ばすのがジャズのライブの醍醐味です。

千葉県船橋市（永武さんの地元だそうです）に2019年10月にできたコクリコットF　(080-3348-5915)。上品で落ち着く、雰囲気抜群のジャズクラブです。

そんな場所にピッタリな本日のお二方。二人とも幅広いメンバーで幅広い音楽に取り組んでおられますが、このお二人がとにかく「息ぴったり」を感じさせます。演奏におきましては、それぞれの最新版がまずは「方向性」なのでしょうね。
