HIDA TAKAYAMA JAZZ FESTIVAL was started in 2018. Hida Takayama area is geographically located in center of Japan, however, it is in the mountain area, and so long time it was not so popular for big concert. Jazz fan would go to Nagoya area for such a big concert.
However, Hida Takayama got an unique and historical culture. Some volunteers had a valuable idea to hold jazz festival to combine with such an unique culture !!
In 2021, unfortunately still there was serious problem with COVID 19. It was decided to hold it without audiences, but fortunately with LIVE STREAMED!!
