What is the highest interest in India for tourists ?

Probably the Taj Mahal ?

Agra Castle, Red Fort (in Dheli)?

For me, definitely Ganga (Ganges)., the sacred river for Hindus.

It is said they got a holy salvation to get in Ganga and ablution in the river.

It is said Ganga water is the holy water to remove all the sin.

Especially I got special interest that there is a place people gathers when they notice just before die. They will be waiting for the time of death there watched over by their family. In fact it is the ultimate facing to the death and lives !!

I arrived at Baranasi, and took a economic hotel as usual, then went straight to the Ganga, avoiding a lot of buffalo strolling around, and also shit dropped here and there !!

YES, GANGA.

A lot of people are bathing.

I thought for a long time if I could bathe in here…..

But finally could not.

It is just because of pollution.

Mixed in the water with all the domestic wastewater including shit…….

However, it is the SACRED.

I have decided to sit in here in the riverbank probably for a long time until my holy understanding.
