What do you think of the best album for Joni Mitchell with Jaco Pastrious ??
MINGUS (1979)
SHADOWS AND LIGHT (1980)
It is tough question ! Both are the greatest.
Probably, for me, reply is in Joni’s comment when to hear Jaco’s tragedy.
“I heard “MINGUS” the next day of Jaco’s death, and I felt remarkable communication at those playing”
Probably the same feeling at death of Charles Mingus (1922-1979)
When Charlie speaks of Lester
You know someone great has gone
Joni Mitchell
Anyway, occasionally I have been listening either MINGUS or SHADOWS..
