URBAN COMFORT, SINGAPORE, AND JAZZ

Basically I like Singapore VERY MUCH.

I love Bak-Kut-Teh, Laksa, Seafood……

I want to visit again to China Town, of course Merlion, Orchard Road…..

I can not be responsible for long staying, however, at least short visit, Urban comfort of Singapore is one of the best favorite for me.

However, quite unfortunately, as far as experience of my previous visit, I had no chance to meet jazz in Singapore….

YES, I know the situation has been changing rapidly.

1. TOKYO JAZZ IN SINGAPORE

It was in May 2016. There was a collaboration between Esplanade Singapore and Tokyo Jazz, and there held the event, “SUPER JAPAN”. (50years anniversary of Japan-Singapore Diplomatic Relationship)

Some bands like FOX CAPTURE PLAN…. were performed there.

Hope this kind of collaboration keeps on!

2. Jeremy Monteiro

He is called “Singapore King of swing”.

I have a friend working for musical instruments company, and on business my friend knows Jeremy. Then I got an introduction of his name from my friend. Very nice !!

Really it should be the best to enjoy visit together with jazz !!
