Nemu-no-sato (Nemu Village) is located in Mie prefecture as follows. It is far from the city, and with plenty of nature as resort area. Actually it is one of the use for a training camp for musicians, then quickly developed to jazz festival like the initial Newport Jazz Festival !!
This is my individual issue in 1979, when I started my university life in Osaka. I got news of Nemu Jazz Inn to be held on Jul.21.

I got a ticket immediately. However, to be most pity, I got a very important tactics later, then one of my senior at the university took it on behalf of me. (He had a large bike and went there at all 2 days 0 night.) Festival went on all night.
Long time I forgot that accident, however, now again the pity approached to me saying “how came such a chance being lost !!”
Not only in 1979, but also another year. Chick Corea came, Herbie Hancock, Gary Peacock and others foreign top musicians…… Of course top Japanese musicians as well.
