Penang Island is called “PEARL OF THE ORIENT” or I am not sure used to be called. Because I have never been its resort area, “Batu Ferringhi”, located in northern Island area, even though I have been to Penang downtown, “George Town” several times. Of course “PEARL” is called for resort area.
Penang Island Jazz Festival is founded in 2004, which is organized in Batu Ferringhi area.
“JAZZ BY THE BEACH !!”
My impression in Penang is “HIGHEST RELAX”.
-People are mild. (maybe in suitable combination of business (not to much !!) and quality of life)
-A lot of delicious food (in southern country, plenty of natural food)
-Beautiful historical place and nature
It should be so nice to enjoy beach and jazz !!
However, very honestly speaking, I like downtown, human breathing place, GEORGE TOWN.
Just walking around or taking Trishaw. (In Penang Trishaw, customer’s seats are in front!)
Isn’t it possible to be held in both places ????
