Ayaka Hirahara (平原綾香）is a very popular Japanese singer-songwriter. Maybe she is not categorized in Jazz singer, however, it looks that step by step she has been approaching jazz.
The topics for jazz fans are collaboration with Jiro Okada (岡田次郎) (b), who is member of fusion band, PRISM. Their collaboration was started in 2009. Just a duo with Bass and Vocal, AWESOME!!
(Later, she had a chance to play SPAIN together with Chick Corea in his concert in 2014 !!)
Then, it is very nice that their collaboration started again in Tokyo Jazz 2020 in remote performance !!
