JAZZその他音楽

What are your best 10 jazz albums of the 70’s ??

Again, it is interesting to see the old magazine to be found by chance.

SWING JOURNAL special edition in 1980 reported the poll for the best 10 albums by the critics in Japan and overseas.

  1. RETURN TO FOREVER/ RETURN TO FOREVER
  2. WEATHER REPORT/ WEATHER REPORT
  3. INSIGHTS/ TOSHIKO AKIYOSHI, LEW TABACKIN BIG BAND
  4. CUMBIA AND JAZZ FUSION/ CHARLES MINGUS
  5. LAST RECORDING VOL.1,2/ ALBERT AYLER
  6. SOLO CONCERT/ KEITH JARRETT
  7. SPIRITUAL NATURE/ MASAHIKO TOGASHI
  8. AGARTHA/ MILES DAVIS
  9. BACK TO THE SEA/ BINGO MIKI AND INNER GALAXY ORCHESTRA
  10. V.S.O.P/ HERBIE HANCOCK

All those albums are, of course, many times on the turn table especially 40-45 years ago, and for me when I got the strong, first interest in jazz, and even now.

What are the 10 of the 80’s ???
