THREE VIEWS OF A SECRET
Oh, it is a great pity that we have no chance to listen to this beautiful and noble tune from directly, Jaco Pastrious !!
However, still there are many successors who give us such a chance.
Takeshi Shibuya （渋谷毅）is the one from Japan.
He got his orchestra, and THREE VIEWS OF A SECRET is one of his regular tune. Also he made it a rule to play at end of year special live performance at Shinjuku Pit Inn.
So do I.
Last year, due to COVID19, it was not a all night performance, however, usually it was. After end of the all performances, I went back home under the freezing wind. In fact it was nothing. I could enjoy to go there to listen to Shibuya-san’s THREE VIEWS OF A SECRET !!

As for my individual preference, I like Kosuke Mine very much, who is much stable and powerful. In fact one of active legend !!
Then, why important at the end of year ??
Maybe because, I think, anybody has at least 3 secrets, and can disclose them internally at the end of year !! Then the next day we can have fresh new year !!!

Original THREE VIEWS OF A SECRET was released in NIGHT PASSAGE (1980), then, the next release is in his group, WORD OF MOUTH (1981).
