It was on Mar.21,2023 when there was a monthly performance by the duo of TETSUJI YOSHIDA (tp) and MIKIKO NAGATAKE (p), at 14:00-16:00. This year, it is rather warmer and quite early to see blooming of cherry blossom. Actually, every year in a short time, very beautiful!.
In such a case, people like to have a welcome speech like,”Thank you for coming in a beautiful cherry blossom day”. However, it is TETSUJI YOSHIDA who has always unique speech,”Thank you for coming in a heavy “HAY FEVER ” day! In fact in this year we get heavy trouble of hay fever.
Anyway, the suite started in the first set.

In the second set after some break, they performed several old tunes and some of previous “PENSION SUITE”. Of course, very unique as well.
And it was a wonderful day that we received special gift from TETSUJI YOSHIDA, of his own made bread!! It is his elegant hobby.
Usually we leave jazz club after the performance in a satisfied mood of music, however, today in a satisfied mood of music and bread!!
