It was on Sep.18th 2019, when the owner of NRFS decided to open this extremely unique jazz club in Shimokitazawa. 4 years have passed !! There were so many issues and happenings during the long (short ?) period. The first one was COVID 19. It is completely far from our imagination. In any way, The club has been going on !!
The first unit to celebrate 4 years anniversary on Sep.16 was “BA BA BAR”.
It was informed to the audiences on the day what was the chance to Tomoaki Baba to run this unique unite (basically no charge, only for the TIPS for musicians) to decide by Baba who to play with, case by case. Someday after NRFS opened, Baba met the owner of NRFS and opened Baba’s idea to him. Then, immediately, they went his club to decide to perform it.
That is the consistent history of BABA BAR at NRFS.
