Watanabe Sadao My Dear Life !!
This narration, to start the radio program, is one of my unforgettable phrase in my youth.
This program was on the air from Aug.1972 through Mar.1989, one hour from 24:00, every Sat. midnight. Maybe it was not every week for me, however, apparently it was one of the most delightful and expected schedule in my youth. How valuable FM radio program is !!
Sadao Watanabe’s top step in fusion period is “HOW’S EVERYTHING” concert in 1980, with collaboration of Dave Grusin.
Of course in those several years, he had been rushing to the same direction, usually with Japanese regular musicians. We had enjoyed on time performances on radio program !! It was really important !!
