I could not forget the unfortunate incident twice in my life, losing the chance to see Anthony Jackson.

One was on 1980, for the HOW’S EVERYTHING tour with Sadao Watanabe.

The other was on 2016, for the SPARK TOUR with Hiromi Uehara.

The upper one was due to my physical condition.

The lower one was due to Anthony Jackson’s physical condition.

I am OK after that, however, in fact we are not sure exactly how is current Anthony Jackson.

We only wish his calm daily life, and of course, if possible, his recovery to the music.

Anthony Jackson is one of the musicians so called as “FIRST CALL” from the mid of 70′.

And, in fact, his greatest carrier is overlapped with fusion spark in Japan.

So many fusion stars in Japan had been relying on the support from the steady contrabass by Anthony Jackson, like Sadao Watanabe, Terumasa Hino, Kazumi Watanabe, Jun Fukamachi, Hiroshi Fukumura, Akiko Yano and so on, and so on.

And Hiromi Uehara. Start from “Another Mind” in 2002, until, so far, “Spark” in 2015, The Trio Project has been the idle for me.
