I heard that in USA, porridge is getting popular. Do you like it ?
In Asian countries, for the long time, it is so popular, of course depending on the each region characteristics.
In my trip to several Asian countries next month, I would like to have some survey on PORRIDGE.
(Not only DUMPLINGS！!)
So far as far as I learned, there are two major types.
-Teochew porridge (plain. usually some side dished aside)
-Guangdong porridge (Side dishes inside already)
China is so large countries, and almost all of South East Asian countries have strong reflection from people movement from China.
It is so interesting, for me, to study such a transition. (not only dumplings….!!)
