久しぶりで申し訳ないのですが、夜のDUGで心豊かな時間をいただいてきました。
As usual, I got a rich time in mind at DUG tonight.
同じインテリア、同じ音楽、同じスタッフさん。しかし流れる時間は微妙に違う。何故なのでしょうね？昼は飲み物の中心はたぶんコーヒー。夜は様々なお酒。それぞれの楽しみがある、というだけのことかもしれません。
The same interioa, the same music, and the same staffs. However, a little bit different in atmosphere. Probably main drinks at daytime is coffee, on the other hand many kinds of alcohol drinks at night. Each time each enjoyment, just!
JAZZ喫茶（JAZZ CAFE）の楽しみはもちろん人それぞれです。①ただ単純にJAZZを聴きたい。②雰囲気に浸りたい。③おいしい飲み物（食べ物）に期待。④友人/知人と楽しい時間を共有したい。⑤ただ単純に疲れを癒したい。昼/夜共にほぼすべてを網羅できるように思います。昼は①が比較的強め。夜は⑤が比較的強め。なんとなくそんな気がします。
Of course each single person has different kind of enjoyment for JAZZ CAFE. ①Just to enjoy Jazz music ②Just to enjoy whole atmosphere ③Just to expect nice drinks/ food ④Just to enjoy sharing nice time with friends ⑤Just to be relaxed and relieve stress. I think at daytime ① is more than others, and at night ⑤is more.
会社帰りのひと時、そうでなくても同じでしょう。ドアを開けて階段を一歩一歩降ります。少しずつ空気が変わっていくのは昼も夜も同じ。階段を降りると朴訥にセロニアス・モンクが出迎えてくれるのも同じ。違うのは微妙な空気。夜は少しだけ優しさが増すような気がします。アルコールが要因なのか実は不明ですが（笑）。
Both after job and or not so, we feel the slight change of atmosphere at every step down the stairway, the same welcome of distinctive THELONIOUS MONK. I can feel a little bit ease and comfortable more at night.
一方、JAZZ喫茶（JAZZ CAFE）に通うお客さん層は、①コアなジャズ好き ②何となくのジャズ好き ③よくはわからないが好きな人に連れられて。に分かれそうに思います。誰にだって店は優しいと思います。どんな人のためにも、店は続いていただきたい。DUGには比較的②と③が多いような気がします。そして②と③の層をどんどん（DONDON 笑）広げていっていただきたいと願います。
On the other hand, those who come JAZZ CAFE, can be categolized in ;
①Core Jazz lovers ②Sometimes Jazz Lovers ③ Just to be accompanied with friend Jazz cafe is always kind to all in category. Personally I feel DUG customers are more in ② and ③. Sincerely wish that DUG could develop more and more of ②and ③. Of course for whole as well.
