Chinese people celebrate LUNAR NEW YEAR. Today is the day.
When I was staying in China, it was an impressive day for me as well.
① Could enjoy DUMPLING.
It is a traditional custom to enjoy Dumpling on the previous day of the New Year (like eating Soba in Japan), gathering in a family.
② Celebrating by FIRECRACKER
Sometimes very fierce, almost all night long on the previous day., and a lot of accidents….
In fact in these years, governments restricted in such a custom.
③ 紅包 (new years present (money) in a red wrapping)
I do not want to remind it……. hahaha
Such kind of customs are changing in a history. However, its base is gather in a family to remind ancestor. It should be succeeded in any way.
