Nearly 8 months has passed after that, and now we got some good news in his own writing essay on jazz magazine, “jazz life”, June issue.
It was about talks with Hozumi Nakadaira, owner of DUG in Shinjuku, because Unno wanted to see Nakadaira during his stay in Japan and before coming back to New York.
He said, “it should be highly anxious to be back to New York, frankly speaking. However, it is the place who needs me, where so many friends are waiting. It is my new mission to get recovery in America and Japan, which is not defeated by unjust violence.”

So many friends in Japan as well have been wishing his smoothest recovery including Nakadaira-san, who came to Dug to see him even though Nakadaira-san rarely visits Dug after COVID 19., and enjoyed talks in 4 hours around!!
