一体、今の世の中で、例えばラーメン好きな人が、「こんな味のラーメン食べたいなあ」と思って、「こんな味」だけで注文して、ぴったりはまるラーメン出してくれる店ってあります！[？ って机を叩いて聞いてみたくなる。この、「通じる」ところは、間違いなく貴重なジャズ喫茶の文化だと思います。
Is there anywhere in the world at restaurant to be served “EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED” when only to order fuzzy like “this kind of taste” ?? This is definitely valuable JAPAN JAZZ KISSA culture,getting each other smoothly.
中野新橋にある「ジニアス」です。渋谷からの引っ越しですが通産５０年！の名店です。ご子息が店を切り盛りされているようですが、マスターはまだしっかりご健在で店に入られている。
It is “GENIUS”, in Nakano-Shinbashi. 50 years long history including Shibuya-years.
住宅街のまん真ん中にある店です。ありがちな地下ではなく、窓越しに神田川が見える、お昼は明かりを入れ込んだ、おしゃれな女性好みとも言える店。DUGもそうですが、女性客の比率が比較的高い。そんな空気で、KEITH JARRETT を頼んでみたのです。
The location is in the residential area. On the first floor. Over the window, we can see Kandagawa’s romantic view. With enough daylight and sophisticated atmosphere, I requested Keith Jarrett.
コロナも少し鎮静化とも期待できる流れです。客さんも多め。こういう店は少しゆっくりできる時間帯で、マスターの貴重なお話を聞けるときにも伺いたいものです。店は「私たちに向かっていて」いただいています。FACING US !!
It is good that I saw so many guests there even though Corona problem. However, problem for me was not so much time to talk with owner. Next time I hope there could be more time to talk!
GENIUS is always FACING US !!
